Veteran actor-filmmaker Sreenivasan, known for his love of agriculture, has applauded Israel’s farming methods, even as he voiced reservations about the country’s military policies. The actor shared his thoughts during an event hosted by socio-cultural forum Kerala Darshanavedhi, which honoured him for his dedication to paddy cultivation in Kandanad, Ernakulam.

Why Israel’s agriculture impressed him

Sreenivasan described Israel’s agricultural model as “commendable” and expressed a keen interest in visiting the country to learn first-hand. “To understand the changes Israel has brought in farming, it is essential to go there. A team from Kandanad should attempt to visit Israel, and I will be part of that group,” he told the media.
