Taking it to social media, cine actress Shamna Kasim alias Poorna announced her engagement. The actress who has marked her presence in Malayalam, Tamil Telugu and Kannada movies will tie the knot with Shanid Asifali, a business consultant and founder-CEO of JBS group.

Sharing the pictures with him the actress made it “official” that she is stepping into the next stage of her life.

Many celebrities including Pearle Maaney, Shekar Master, Neerav Bavlecha, Rachana Narayanankutty, Paris Laxmi and Shilpa Bala extended their greetings to the actress.

On the work front, she was last seen in Kannada remake of 'Drishyam 2'. Mammootty starring 'Madhuraraja' was her last released Malayalam movie. Her upcoming movies include Tamil movies 'Padam Pesum', 'Pisaasu 2' and Malayalam film 'Vritham'.
