Wadakkanchery: Another sexual abuse case has been filed against actor and Kollam MLA Mukesh. Based on a complaint lodged by an actress, the Wadakkanchery police have registered a case against the actor. The complaint alleges that Mukesh misbehaved with her at a star hotel in Wadakkanchery during the shoot of the film “Nadakame Ulakam” in 2011. The police have registered an FIR in connection with the case.
Although the Wadakkanchery police have registered the case, the investigation will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) formed to probe the complaints against actors and other film personalities by female artists following the release of Hema Committee report. While the police have confirmed the registration of the case, they have not revealed any details regarding the investigation so far.
Meanwhile, it is said that the SIT will soon interrogate Mukesh in connection with the earlier complaint. The team will also challenge the actor’s anticipatory bail petition. According to police officials, the SIT plans to submit an affidavit before the court to request the actor's custody. On Monday, the court will consider Mukesh's anticipatory bail petition.
