Malayalam actor Vinayakan, who was last seen in Mammootty starrer Kalamkaval, had recently suffered a serious neck injury while shooting for the upcoming film Aadu 3.

The incident happened while filming an intense action sequence involving a jeep. The Jailer actor sustained severe muscle injuries to his neck during the stunt and was later admitted to a private hospital in Kochi. After receiving treatment, the actor was discharged from the hospital.

While several fans and colleagues extended their wishes for his recovery, a section of social media users posted comments claiming the injury was a result of karma. The remarks reportedly upset the actor, prompting a strong response on Facebook.

In a sharply worded post, Vinayakan rejected the narrative linking his injury to past actions and asserted that no one needed to lecture him on karma or morality.

"The people who stand with Vinayakan are still with him, and their number has only increased.

When your mother, father, wife, and children are lying weak at home, all you can do is bark. Time will decide when Vinayakan should die. This injury did not happen while doing filthy acts like you people. It happened while working after trusting people who pretended to be knowledgeable but were not."

He further stated that neither curses nor sympathy would affect his resolve.

"Whether Vinayakan lives or dies, nothing will change in this world. You do not need to teach Vinayakan what 'karma' is. Vinayakan will face the result of his own karma. So keep your curses and fake sympathy away from me... Vinayakan is not arrogant; Vinayakan is a man with self-respect. Until time itself kills me, I will keep speaking. Jai Hind Merry Christmas"
