Following the success of "Marco", Cubes Entertainments unveiled its next major venture "Kattalan", starring Antony Varghese Pepe and directed by debutant Paul George.

In a significant announcement, the makers welcomed acclaimed writer Unni R onboard as the dialogue writer for the film, marking his return to dialogue writing after the cult hit "Big B". In the poster shared by Cubes Entertainments, the team scribbled the caption, "Welcoming the Alchemist of Dialogues Unni R to the world of Kattalan".

Unni R, a Kerala State Award-winning screenwriter and author, is celebrated for his compelling narratives and unforgettable characters. Known for his impactful and resonant dialogues in films like "Big B" and "Charlie", Unni R is expected to deliver powerful lines that capture the emotional depth of the characters in "Kattalan" as well.

The film features Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead opposite Antony Varghese Pepe, who appears under his real name, Antony Varghese, for the first time on screen. "Kattalan" boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Malayalam favourites Jagadish and Siddique, alongside pan-Indian actors Sunil and Kabir Duhan Singh. Character posters introducing the above artists and rapper Baby Jean already garnered significant attention online.

"Kattalan" is mounted as a mass action thriller on a pan-Indian scale, with action choreographed by internationally renowned stunt director Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his work in "Ong-Bak 2", "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion", "Jawan", "Baaghi 2", and "Ponniyin Selvan: Part I".

The music is composed by acclaimed Kannada music director B. Ajaneesh Loknath, known for his work in "Kantara". "Kattalan" marks his next major project following "Kantara: Chapter 2". The film's cinematography is by Renadive, editing by Shameer Muhammed, and audiography by M. R. Rajakrishnan.
