In a recent interview with the Mathrubhumi.com, the cast and crew of ‘Nadikar’ shared insights into the making of this compelling film. Describing the film as an emotional rollercoaster, Tovino Thomas emphasised the struggles of a celebrity depicted in the storyline.

"My character, David Padikkal, is a very innocent person. He is truly an easygoing person, as evidenced by his dialogue: 'Even if two of my films flopped, I am still a superstar'. He thinks so. He is not evil. In real life, I am not someone who says that. I don't consider myself a celebrity," Tovino said.

Directed by Jean Paul Lal, ‘Nadikar’ delves into the life of film star David Padikkal, portrayed by Tovino Thomas, who rises to superstardom in the Malayalam film industry. The movie promises to be a captivating ‘movie of reunions’, featuring a stellar ensemble cast including Ganapathy, Balu Varghese, Chandu Salimkumar, and Soubin Shahir.

Bhavana, essaying the female lead role in ‘Nadikar’, expressed her excitement about reuniting with co-stars Ganapathy and Balu Varghese after their previous collaboration in ‘Honey Bee’.

The production of ‘Nadikar’ spanned various locations, including Kashmir, Dubai, Kerala, and Hyderabad, adding depth and richness to the film's visuals. Despite the challenges, the cast enjoyed the shooting process, with Tovino expressing his enthusiasm for each day on set.

Director Jean-Paul Lal's confident vision and knack for storytelling were lauded by Bhavana, who commended his ability to infuse uniqueness into seemingly ordinary narratives.

As anticipation mounts for its release, "Nadikar" promises to take audiences on a captivating journey through the highs and lows of fame, love, and resilience in the world of cinema.
