Malayalam film actor Tovino Thomas has teamed up with director Aashiq Abu again. It is confirmed that the actor will play the lead role in the upcoming movie 'Neelavelicham' directed by Aashiq Abu.
On Monday, Tovino took to his social media pages and shared some pictures from the switch on the ceremony of the movie.
The shooting of the movie has started in Kannur on Monday.
'Neelavelicham' marks Tovino's fourth movie with Aashiq Abu after 'Maayanadhi', 'Virus' and 'Naaradan'.
'Neelavelicham' is an adaptation of Vaikkom Muhammad Basheer's story.Along with Tovino, Rima Kallingal, Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko will play pivotal roles in the movie.
Earlier, it was announced that Prithviraj and Kunchacko Boban will play lead roles in the movie. But the duo reportedly opted out from the project due to date clashes.
