South Korean actors Kim Woo-bin and Shin Min-ah are set to marry on December 20, marking the culmination of a decade-long relationship that has long captured the admiration of fans across Asia. Woo-bin, 36, personally shared the news with fans on Thursday by posting a handwritten letter on his official fan café, according to The Chosun Daily. He went on to confirm his plans to marry Shin Min-ah, explaining that their decision came after spending many years together and choosing to “walk this path together.” He added that any support from fans as they begin this new chapter would mean a great deal.

AM Entertainment, representing both stars, released a statement soon after Woo-bin’s letter circulated. The agency said the couple had decided to become life partners after building “deep trust” over more than a decade. It added that the wedding will be held in Seoul on December 20 in a small, private setting with family, relatives and close friends.

The agency emphasised that marriage will not affect their acting careers and noted that both Shin and Kim will continue pursuing upcoming projects with the same dedication. It also asked fans to send warm wishes to the couple as they step into a new phase of life.

A relationship admired across South Korea

Shin Min-ah, 41, and Kim Woo-bin confirmed their relationship publicly in 2015, although they had met years earlier while working on an endorsement. Over the past decade, their bond has been viewed as one of the most steadfast romances in Korean entertainment.
