Mumbai: Actress Kajal Aggarwal on Sunday dismissed social media rumours about her death, clarifying that she is safe and healthy.

Speculation about Aggarwal’s alleged accident and “fake” videos circulating online had sparked a flood of condolence messages earlier in the day.

“I have come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue,” she wrote on social media. “By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well.”

She added, “I kindly request you not to believe or spread such false news. Let’s keep our focus on positivity and truth instead.”

Aggarwal, known for her work in Telugu cinema as well as in Bollywood, made her Hindi debut opposite Ajay Devgn in Singham (2011). She married entrepreneur Gautam Kitchlu in 2020 and welcomed their son, Neil, in 2022.

The actress, who has taken a sabbatical from films after becoming a mother, continues to enjoy a large fan base across India and Sri Lanka.
