“I honestly have no idea how to even explain…,” said Amrutha in a video posted on social media.

“The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” a TV series directed by Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, has started streaming on Netflix to largely positive reviews.
In his maiden directorial venture, Aryan has assembled a star-studded cast featuring Lakshya Lalwani (Kill fame), Raghav Juyal, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba, along with appearances by Karan Johar, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, S.S. Rajamouli, and a delightful cameo by SRK himself.
Interestingly, there is a Kerala connection to this much-hyped series, and it was revealed by none other than renowned singer Amrutha Suresh. In a video shared on Instagram, she expressed her excitement about dubbing for the Malayalam version of the series, lending her voice to the character played by Sahher Bambba.
“I honestly have no idea how to even explain my excitement right now! My very first debut as a dubbing artist – and that too for the lead heroine in Netflix’s brand-new web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood, directed by none other than Aryan Khan! This is such a huge dream moment for me, and I poured my whole heart into it. So guys, please check it out and tell me how I’ve done… your love and feedback mean the world to me.”
Amrutha’s excitement about this new chapter in her career has been widely praised by her fans online.
Produced by Gauri Khan, The Ba***ds of Bollywood narrates the story of an ‘outsider’ trying to make his way in the film industry, shedding light on the darker realities of Bollywood — from lobbying and selfish interests to rumour-mongering, mafia involvement, and, most notably, nepotism.
The series is currently streaming on Netflix.
