Sushmita Sen, who keeps influencing every generation with her confidence and exuberance, shared an overwhelming post, looking back at the phenomenal moment when she won the coveted ‘Miss Universe’ title, way back in 1994.

Taking to her official Instagram profile, she shared a series of photos from her Miss Universe journey. It was on this day, 31 years ago, that Sen became the first Indian female to win the ‘Miss Universe’ title.

The 'Taali: Bajaungi Nahi, Bajwaungi' (2023) actor, recalling her historic win, admitted to cherishing the special moment forever. The post, including 11 unseen photos, further reads: Opening up a world of possibilities, highlighting the strength of hope, the power of inclusion, the generosity of love…❤️

The photos were an ensemble of her standing alongside fellow contestants, elegant poses, and the winning moment where she just couldn’t keep calm.
