Rumors of Trisha Krishnan's retirement from the film industry have surfaced, fueled by comments from Tamil film critic Anthanan. Tamil media reports that Trisha has discussed leaving the film industry with her mother.
The South Indian actress has several upcoming film releases, including 'Vidaamuyarchi' and 'Good Bad Ugly' alongside Ajith Kumar, 'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam, and 'Suriya 45' directed by RJ Balaji. She also has a few Telugu films in the pipeline as well.
Anthanan's words suggest that Trisha's mother is not supportive of her potential retirement from the film industry. While there is no official confirmation, speculation has intensified, with some suggesting that Trisha may be considering a career in politics, similar to actor Vijay's foray into political activism with the launch of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
Earlier, Trisha had announced that she was taking a break after the death of her pet dog. However, these recent rumours about her retirement have not been confirmed yet by Trisha.
