Riding high on the box-office success of Thudarum, which has now grossed over ₹100 crore, director Tharun Moorthy has announced his next venture, titled Torpedo. The film will be produced by Ashiq Usman under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, with the official title poster now unveiled.

The upcoming film features an impressive ensemble cast led by acclaimed actor Fahadh Faasil, alongside Tamil star Arjun Das, Naslen, and Ganapathi. The screenplay is penned by actor Binu Pappu, marking a notable collaboration within the Malayalam industry.

Adding to the film's appeal is the return of celebrated composer Sushin Shyam, who makes a comeback as music director after a brief hiatus. Torpedo will also feature key contributions from renowned technicians: Jimshi Khalid will handle cinematography, Vivek Harshan is on board for editing, and Vishnu Govind will oversee sound design.

Production design will be managed by Gokul Das, with costume design by Mashar Hamsa. Action sequences will be choreographed by Supreme Sundar, promising high-octane stunts. The film will be distributed by Central Pictures, while marketing and promotions are being handled by Obscure Entertainments.

Meanwhile, Ashiq Usman Productions is also gearing up for the release of Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, another film starring Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Althaf Salim, the film features Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead female role.
