Kochi: Malayalam filmmaker Omar Lulu finds himself entangled in a case of alleged sexual harassment, as a complaint has been filed against him by a young actress. 

The complaint, lodged by the actress from Ernakulam, alleges Lulu of sexual assault under the pretext of offering her roles in movies. The incident is said to be happened six months ago.

Meanwhile, Omar Lulu has denied the accusations against him and claimed that the complaint against him was motivated by personal animosity. However, he has agreed to cooperate with the investigation.

Initially, the complaint was filed with the Kochi City Police. Later, it was transferred to the Nedumbassery Police, who registered a case and launched an investigation, including collecting the victim's statement.

Omar Lulu rose to prominence with his directorial ventures, notably "Happy Wedding" (2016), "Chunkzz" (2017), and "Oru Adaar Love" (2019).
