
Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel recently opened up about her friendship with Sanjay Dutt, revealing some interesting insights into their relationship. She shared that Sanjay has a protective and possessive attitude towards her, at times even dictating what she could wear when visiting his home.
Ameesha recalled in an interview with Bollywood Bubble that when she visited Sanjay's house on her birthday, she chose to wear a salwar kameez instead of modern Western attire. "When I went to his house on my birthday, I had to wear a salwar kameez. Whenever I visited him, he wouldn’t allow me to wear shorts or modern Western clothes. He has a very protective and possessive attitude towards me," Ameesha said.
Ameesha also mentioned that Sanjay had expressed concern over her career, telling her that she was too innocent to survive in the competitive film industry. "Sanjay once told me that I was too innocent to survive in the film industry. He often says that he would find a perfect partner for me and get me married!”
The actor further shared that Sanjay’s care for her went beyond just professional matters. "Sanjay gives me special attention. He admires me and is always concerned about me. He regularly checks if I am okay, always asking if I’m alright," Ameesha added.
In 2022, Ameesha posted a picture of her birthday celebration on Instagram, where only close friends and family were invited. The celebration took place at Sanjay Dutt’s house.
Sanjay Dutt and Ameesha Patel have worked together in films such as Tathastu and Chatur Singh Two Star. Ameesha’s latest release is Gadar 2, while Sanjay’s most recent film is the Telugu movie Double ISmart. His upcoming film is the horror movie The Bhootni, which is set to release in theatres on April 18.
