Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who is currently recovering from myositis, an auto-immune condition, visited Palani Murugan Temple in Tamil Nadu.
The actor, who arrived at the temple on Monday, was accompanied by filmmaker Premkumar, famed for films '96' and 'Janu'. She reportedly climbed all 600 steps to the shrine and offered prayers.
Photos and videos of the star’s visit to the temple are being widely circulated on social media.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Samantha is gearing up for her upcoming release ‘Shaakuntalam’, a pan-Indian mythological drama, based on Kalidasa’s epic.
The actress has also been roped in for a romantic film, 'Kushi,' opposite actor Vijay Deverakonda and an action thriller web series 'Citadel' alongside Varun Dhawan.
