The latest addition to Indian celebrity chat shows that promises to bring all the juicy and inside information from the tinsel town is Prime Video's 'Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle', with Kajol Devgn and Twinkle Khanna as the hosts.

The show drops a fresh episode every Thursday, inviting two guests from Bollywood. This week's episode features Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan, who take back the audience to the '90s days when they co-starred in 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari'.

When Saeed Jaffrey saw a 'naked' Saif in a bathtub

During the filming of 'Yeh Dillagi', Akshay recalled a hilarious incident when late actor Saeed Jaffrey saw a naked Saif in the bathroom tub of his hotel room in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. When asked about it by Twinkle, Saif said, "We shot 'Yeh Dillagi' in Shimla together. Rest in peace. Jaffrey Saab used to have a few drinks, fall asleep on my shoulder at a public function, and then wake up and say, ‘He’s still talking! Who’s this man?’. He was really good fun (laughs)!”

A baffled Saif asked, “Did I use his bathroom?”

Continuing the story, Akshay said, "You were in your bathroom. But your door was open.”

"Saeed Saab's room was next to his. He forgot about it and entered his room. He also wanted to take a bath. So, he took off his clothes. All his clothes! Then, he entered the bathroom, opened the curtain and saw Saif naked inside! He was wondering, ‘Why is Saif in my bathroom?!’”

The men who made Akshay one of the best comic actors

Over the years, Akshay has delivered numerous hits across genres. The actor is loved for his action films, as well as comic timing. As they continued to chit-chat on the show, the guest celebrities and the hosts also spoke about how Akshay, despite being a bankable action hero, went on to become one of the best comic actors in the country.

To this, Akshay revealed that the reason behind it was three men from the industry who saw in him what even he didn't.

"All thanks to Priyadarshan, Rajkumar Santoshi, and a writer-director called Neeraj Vora. These are the people responsible for it." He said that it was these men who saw the potential in him and turned things.

Saif on giving his career's first shot and Yash Chopra

For the actors, their career's first shot in front of the camera is a special memory etched in their hearts. However, for Saif, it's a hilarious but a tad bit embarrassing moment. Saif made his big-screen debut with the 1993 film 'Parampara', helmed by Yash Chopra. Recalling his first shot, Saif said how Yash Chopra enacted the scene for him. Recalling it, he said, "All I had to do was to say, 'Pratap has landed.'" And so when action was said, Saif said, "P...P...P...Pratap has landed." The director said cut, and asked Saif as to why he was stammering.

Just as he narrated this to Akshay, Twinkle, and Kajol, the three burst out laughing, as he mistakenly had copied Yash's stammering while giving his first shot.

Akshay revealed he wasn't the first choice for 'Pad Man'

Director R Balki's 2018 film 'Pad Man', starring Akshay in the lead, is based on Twinkle's book 'The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad', which is further based on real-life man Arunachalam Muruganantham. During a discussion on why Akshay loves doing social commentary films like 'Pad Man' and 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha', he revealed how he had to convince R Balki and Twinkle to take him in the movie.

Agreeing that he wasn't thought of as the lead cast, Twinkle revealed the reason Akshay gave, which convinced the director and her to take him in.

"He said, 'If someone like me, a big movie star, stands up there and holds a sanitary pad in my hand, it will change the narrative for everyone.'" And that is how he was cast, with Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte as the leading ladies in the film.

A Bollywood singer who offended Madonna by calling her a virgin

Akshay recalled how he, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, and a few others were touring the United States of America for a show called 'Awesome Foursome'. He mentioned that they were all very happy to see Madonna sitting in the audience. A singer, who also accompanied him on the tour, took to the stage for his performance.

Without revealing the singer's name, Akshay recalled how the singer saw Madonna and dedicated the song to her, and innocently called her a 'virgin' a number of times while singing the song.

The actor further joked that soon after the performance, Madonna stood up and left the venue, and that since then no Hollywood celebrity has ever come to their show.
