As Dhurandhar continues its blockbuster run at the box office, actor Ranveer Singh on Monday shared a cryptic note on destiny, faith and patience, sparking conversations among fans.

Taking to Instagram, the actor posted a reflective quote on the changing nature of fate, hinting that he is currently choosing to rely on belief and perseverance. He wrote, when loosely translated in English, “Kismat ki ek bohut khoobsurat aadat hai, ki woh waqt aane par badalti hai. Lekin filhal. Nazar aur sabr. (Fate has a wonderful habit of changing in due course. But for now, faith and patience.)”

The post comes as Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead, continues to receive an exceptional response from audiences across the country. The film’s second Saturday collections have surpassed several major blockbusters, including Pushpa 2 (Hindi) at Rs 46.50 crore, Chhaava at Rs 44.10 crore, Stree 2 at Rs 33.80 crore and Animal at Rs 32.47 crore.

Other films featuring in the top 10 for second Saturday collections include Gadar 2 (Rs 31.07 crore), Jawan (Rs 30.10 crore), Saiyaara (Rs 27 crore), Baahubali 2 (Hindi) (Rs 26.50 crore) and The Kashmir Files (Rs 24.80 crore). The film’s remarkable momentum is also evident in its strong two-week overall performance.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar revolves around an Indian spy named Hamza who infiltrates Pakistan to join the gang led by Rehman Dakait. Inspired by real-life events such as the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, the film offers a gritty look at the India-Pakistan conflict.

Along with Ranveer Singh, the film features Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt and Sara Arjun in pivotal roles.

The action-adventure has also recorded houseful shows across several centres in Jammu and Kashmir, including smaller towns like Shopian and Pulwama, where theatrical exhibition has traditionally been limited. The strong turnout in these regions highlights renewed audience interest in big-screen cinema beyond multiplex-driven markets. Dhurandhar Part Two is slated for release on March 19, 2026.
