As Ranbir Kapoor celebrates another year of life, fans and cinema enthusiasts eagerly await his next silver screen appearances. With a filmography boasting iconic roles in ‘Barfi!’, ‘Rockstar’, and ‘Sanju’, Ranbir has consistently proven his acting prowess. On his special day, we take a look at the exciting projects lined up for this talented actor, promising more drama, romance, and thrills.


‘Love & War’:

Nearly two decades after his acting debut, Ranbir is all set to work again with his first director, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who cast him in Saawariya in 2007. Rabir, along with Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt, will be starring in ‘Love & War’, a film backed by Bhansali Productions. The film was announced early this year, in January, and was slated for a Christmas 2025 release. However, it has reportedly been pushed for a new release date, and will now be out in March 2026.


‘Animal Park’:

‘Animal Park’ is the sequel to one of Ranbir’s highest grossing films of all time, ‘Animal.’ Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the actioner was announced after the release of the prequel as the makers teased its sequel after the end credits scene. The film, which will star Ranbir in a dual role, is reportedly in the writing and is yet to begin its production. Also featuring Rashmika Mandanna, its director promised viewers that the sequel will be far darker and wilder than ‘Animal’.


‘Ramayana’:

Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana Part 1’ is one of the highly-anticipated films of Ranbir. Also marking the Hindi debut of Sai Pallavi, it will feature Ranbir as Lord Ram, Sai as Sita, and Yash as Ravana. Apart from the leading cast, Sunny Deol and Lara Dutta have also been cast as Lord Hanuman and Kaikeyi, while Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram in the TV series ‘Ramayana’ has been roped in to play King Dasharath. Presently under production, reports have claimed that the film, which was previously to be released as a trilogy, will now be released in two parts.


‘Brahmastra Part Two: Dev’:

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ is a part of a trilogy. Released in September 2022, it also featured Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Touted to be India’s first cinematic universe, its second part, titled ‘Brahmastra Part Two: Dev’ will reportedly star Ranveer Singh. Furthermore, as per reports, the second and the third parts of the trilogy are expected to release in 2026 and 2027, respectively.
