Ram Charan has reportedly travelled to Coimbatore for wrist surgery after completing his latest film ‘Peddi’. The actor was seen arriving at Ganga Hospital along with his father Chiranjeevi, mother Surekha and wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela.

According to reports, Ram sustained the injury while filming an action sequence for ‘Peddi’. The actor is said to have continued shooting and postponed the procedure to complete his work commitments.

Videos circulating online show Ram Charan arriving at the hospital with his family. Chiranjeevi was also seen greeting hospital staff outside the facility.

Ram Charan’s wrist surgery reportedly scheduled for Monday

Reports state that Ram Charan has undergone surgery on Monday after completing the necessary hospital formalities. Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore is known for its orthopaedic care and will reportedly treat the wrist injury the actor has been managing during the film’s production.

Ram Charan undergoes wrist surgery after ‘Peddi’ injury

Ram Charan has undergone wrist surgery after reportedly delaying treatment to complete the shoot of ‘Peddi’, according to Rediff.

The surgery was led by Dr S Rajasekaran, chairman of Ganga Hospital and a renowned orthopaedic surgeon. Given the complexity of the wrist injury, internationally acclaimed hand and wrist surgeon Dr Alejandro Badia from Miami, USA, also joined the surgical team.

The procedure was completed by Dr S Rajasekaran, Dr Alejandro Badia, Dr Praveen Bharadwaj and their team of specialists.

According to Ram Charan’s team, the actor is recovering well and doctors are satisfied with the outcome of the surgery. He will now undergo a structured rehabilitation programme before returning to his professional commitments.
