Malayalam director Nadirshah claims his cat died due to poor handling at a Kochi pet hospital. He has filed a police complaint and requested a postmortem

Kochi: Malayalam actor and director Nadhirshah has raised allegations against the Ernakulam Pet Hospital in Palarivattam following the death of his pet cat, Nobel. Nadhirshah claimed that he had taken the cat for a bath and grooming but it died due to the negligence of hospital authorities.
Nadhirshah made the allegations through Facebook. He filed a complaint with the Palarivattom police regarding the incident. The cat was anaesthetised before grooming to prevent it from becoming aggressive. He alleges that the cat died during the grooming.
The incident took place yesterday. Nadhirshah and his daughter had gone to the pet hospital in Palarivattam to groom the cat.
Before administering anesthesia a noose-like restraint was put around the cat’s neck. Soon after, the cat died under unclear circumstances. The hospital authorities said that when they tried to sedate it, the cat died.
After this, when the actor called the doctor, the doctor replied that he was not there when the incident happened and a lady doctor had administrated anaesthesia.
But Nadhirshah did not believe that and needed to know whether the anaesthesia or the noose around the neck was the cause of death. Nadhirshah also demanded autopsy.
The note was shared by Nadhirshah on Facebook yesterday.
