Kozhikode: Actor Mohanlal has been chosen for this year's P V Sami Memorial Industrial and Socio-Cultural Award. The actor was selected by a panel comprising M.V. Shreyams Kumar, Dr C.K. Ramachandran and Sathyan Anthikad.

Noted writer M.T. Vasudevan Nair will present the award to Mohanalal at a function on December 16 at Sree Narayana Centenary Hall, Kozhikode. PV Chandran, Chairman & Managing Editor of Mathrubhumi, will preside over the event. 

Jury Chairman and Mathrubhumi Managing Director M.V. Shreyams Kumar will speak at the function. M.T. Vasudevan Nair will also release the book 'Mohanlalinte Ormakuruppukal' at the event.
