Queen Mantis

Manoj Bajpayee stars in this crime comedy inspired by the life of Mumbai police officer Madhukar Zende, famed for arresting the elusive Charles Sobhraj twice, including after an infamous jailbreak in 1986. Jim Sarbh co-stars as the wily fugitive in this cat-and-mouse thriller set for release on September 5, exclusively on Netflix.

A Minecraft Movie

Jason Momoa, Jack Black, Danielle Brooks, and Emma Myers headline a fantastical adventure where four outcasts are thrust into the pixelated world of Overworld. To return home, they must unite and follow the guidance of quirky master builder Steve. The adventure film streams from September 5 on JioHotstar.

Love Con Revenge

This revealing docu-series focuses on scam survivor Cecilie Fjellhøy (of ‘The Tinder Swindler’ fame) as she joins forces with private eye Brianne Joseph. Their mission: to expose romance scam artists and help victims reclaim their dignity and losses. Available September 5 on Netflix.

Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan

This romantic drama, adapted from Ruskin Bond’s ‘The Eyes Have It’, follows Jahaan, a visually challenged musician, who meets Saba, a fellow visually impaired actress, on a train. As they traverse the Himalayas together, love blossoms against the odds, featuring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor. Available September 5 on Zee5.

Kammattam

Dropping on ZEE5 on September 6, Kammattam is a Malayalam mystery that shadows Inspector Antonio George as he unravels a supposed accident which soon reveals itself to be mired in deception and criminal intrigue.

Lilo & Stitch

Disney’s beloved animated tale is reimagined in live-action by Dean Fleischer Camp. Starring Maia Kealoha and Kaipo Dudoit, this heartfelt film sees a lonely Hawaiian girl’s world turned upside down by her blue extraterrestrial companion. Now streaming on JioHotstar.

Kannappa

Vishnu Manchu portrays Thinnadu, a warrior whose encounter with Lord Shiva sparks his transformation into the legendary devotee Kannappa. This spiritual epic features cameo appearances by Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, and Kajal Aggarwal, launching September 5 on Amazon Prime Video.

Task

Adam Driver leads this moody series directed by David Fincher, chronicling a psychological descent as ambition blurs the line between right and wrong. The show premieres on JioHotstar on September 8.

Only Murders in the Building 5

Maalik
