Rana Daggubati opens up about his health struggles, including being blind in one eye and undergoing a kidney transplant. The actor shares his humorous take on his health challenges during a promotional event for Rana Naidu.

Rana Daggubati is an actor who gained pan-Indian attention through Baahubali. Although he has been active in Telugu films since 2010, the actor became more notable for his villainous role in Baahubali 1 and 2.
Fans were shocked to hear Rana Daggubati's revelation that he is blind in one eye. The actor later revealed that he had undergone a kidney transplant too. Rana Daggubati has now revealed in a promotional event of the second season of the Netflix series 'Rana Naidu', that he has come to terms with his health issues and sometimes it feels like comedy.
"Over the years, my eye has become a comedy. I can't see anything on one side. It gets really funny during fight scenes. If I don’t put the lenses in and clean them off, everything gets messed up. I would say it’s almost like the Terminator. There are a lot of things that have been transplanted—like an eye, a kidney," Rana Daggubati shared.
The actor also spoke about a funny incident during a shoot with co-star Arjun Rampal, who misunderstood Rana's condition. "Once during a shoot, Arjun kept staring at me and asked if I was crying. Even though I told him it was just watery eyes, he kept asking me if I was crying," Rana added.
Rana had earlier revealed that he had no vision in his right eye and could not see anything when he closed his left eye. He later underwent a kidney transplant.
