Nivin Pauly returns to the OTT space with Pharma, a Malayalam web series that takes a hard look at the darker side of the pharmaceutical industry. The series mixes drama and crime with real-world concerns, showing how money, power and corruption can slowly take over a system meant to protect public health. With a strong story at its core, Pharma sets out to question what happens when business comes before human lives.
Where and when can you watch the series?
You can watch Pharma on JioHotstar from December 19, 2025. The web series will be available in Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and, of course, Malayalam, making it accessible to a wide audience across the country.
What dark secrets does the series uncover?
The story revolves entirely around the pharmaceutical world and exposes the unsettling secrets of the medical industry. What initially appears to be an isolated incident soon turns into a chain of events that reveal deeply unethical practices. These include illegal drug trials and unchecked corporate greed that show little concern for innocent people.
As the narrative unfolds, a much larger conspiracy comes to light. Companies, doctors, middlemen and criminals are all drawn into the spotlight. With each episode, another layer of truth is peeled away, making the story darker, heavier and increasingly intense.
Cast and crew
The series features a strong ensemble cast, including Nivin Pauly, Rajit Kapur, Shruti Ramachandran, Narain, Veena Nandakumar, Muthumani, Binu Pappu, Muthumani and others, all playing important roles in the story.
Pharma is directed by PR Arun and produced by Krishnan Sethukumar under the Movie Mill banner.
