
Rumours surrounding actress Nimrat Kaur and her co-star Abhishek Bachchan have recently taken over social media, sparking headlines and sparking speculation about her alleged relationship with Abhishek. Alongside, rumours of Abhishek's divorce from his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have fueled further gossip, with old video clips of the couple's interviews resurfacing online.
Finally breaking her silence on the matter, Nimrat shared her stance in an interview. Nimrat made it clear that she’s choosing to focus on her career and ignore the gossip.
“I could do anything and people would still say what they want. There’s no stopping such gossip, and I prefer focusing on my work.”
Viral clip ignites more speculation
As rumours intensified, an old clip of Nimrat and Abhishek promoting their film 'Dasvi' began making rounds on social media. In the video, there is a lighthearted moment where the two discuss Abhishek's marriage to Aishwarya.
Abhishek mentions that they recently celebrated 15 years of marriage, to which both he and the anchor say “touchwood.” Nimrat then makes a casual comment, “Marriages do not last long,” and laughs, causing Abhishek to playfully respond, “Thanks.” The two laughed it off, yet the clip reignited buzz around their supposed connection.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan has recently announced his upcoming film, 'I Want To Talk', directed by Shoojit Sircar, which is set to release on November 22, 2024. He’s also working on an untitled project with filmmaker Nikkhil Advani.
Other projects in his pipeline include 'Housefull 5', 'Hera Pheri 3', 'The Big Bull 2', 'Shootout at Byculla', and 'Be Happy'.
Nimrat Kaur, on the other hand, is gearing up for her role in 'Section 84', where she will share screen space with Abhishek’s father, Amitabh Bachchan. She also has 'Sky Force', a film starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan, as well as a TV series titled 'The Legacy of the Raisingghs – Kull'.
