Music director lyaraja makes a grand devotional offering of ₹8 crore in gold and diamonds at Kollur Temple, honouring Mookambika and Veerabhadra Swamy.

Mangaluru: Renowned music director Ilaiyaraaja presented gold and diamond ornaments worth ₹8 crore to Goddess Mookambika and Lord Veerabhadra Swamy at Kolloor. The offerings included diamond-studded crowns for both deities and a gold-crafted sword for Veerabhadra Swamy.
On Wednesday morning, Ilaiyaraaja visited the Kollur temple for darshan and, in the presence of priest Subrahmanya Adiga, ceremonially offered the jewellery to the temple.
He was accompanied by his son and fellow music director Karthik Raja.
