Murali Sharma has joined Jayasurya's upcoming pan-Indian investigative thriller ‘Operation Tral’

Actor Murali Sharma, who has worked across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam cinema, has joined the cast of Jayasurya's upcoming investigative thriller ‘Operation Tral’. The announcement was made on Murali Sharma's birthday.
Murali Sharma will appear in a prominent role in ‘Operation Tral’, sharing screen space with Jayasurya. The film also stars Rithika Singh, Kavya Shetty, Anson Paul, Nandalal Krishnamoorthy, Vinay Rai, Siddique, Sai Kumar and Sirajudheen.
The actor has built a reputation for moving comfortably between different kinds of roles. His filmography includes intense dramatic characters as well as parts in action-heavy films, making his addition to an investigative thriller like Operation Tral an interesting one.
Written and directed by Ratheesh Vega, ‘Operation Tral’ is set around intelligence operations and a major encounter in Tral, Jammu and Kashmir. The film combines elements of investigation and action with a patriotic storyline.
Jayasurya leads the film and the cast includes Murali Sharma, Vinay Rai, Siddique and Rithika Singh. The makers have mounted the project on a large scale, with filming taking place across several locations.
The shoot covered Kerala, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Kulu, Manali, Mussoorie and Ladakh, giving the film a range of landscapes to match its story.
Produced by Joby George Thadathil under the banner of Goodwill Entertainments, ‘Operation Tral’ is being prepared for a worldwide release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. Sunimol Joby is the co-producer.
Ratheesh Vega has also composed the music and background score. Sameera Saneesh and Saritha Jayasurya have worked on the costumes, while Ronex Xavier is the makeup artist.
