Director Rosshan Andrrews has made a big announcement on his 2013 release ‘Mumbai Police'. He announced that he is planning to remake the movie very soon.

Celebrating 8 years of the super hit movie, Rosshan took to his social media pages to make the announcement. He also shared a few snaps from the shooting.

“8 years of ‘ Mumbai police ‘ !!! Sharing some great memories with you all .... Aliyaaaaaa ...... still, people talk about this film! We are remaking this film very soon .... will give all the details ... just wait ... love you all,” wrote Rosshan as announcing a remake of ‘Mumbai Police’.

Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Rahman played lead roles in ‘Mumbai Police’. The investigation thriller impressed the audience with its unique way of narration and suspense. Bobby-Sanjay penned the script of the movie which produced by Nisad Haneefa.

Though the director announced the plans to remake the movie, he didn’t reveal the language.

Earlier, Rosshan made his  Kollywood debut by remaking Manju Warrier starrer ‘How Old Are You?'. 

Hence, it is rumoured that he is planning to remake ‘Mumbai Police’ in Tamil.

Celebrities including Prithviraj reacted to Rosshan’s big announcement on social media.

Manju Warrier starrer ‘Prathi Poovankozhi’ is Rosshan’s last released movie.

His upcoming release will be Dulquer Salmaan starrer ‘Salute’.
