Mohanlal sent a video message to the organisers, expressing his heartfelt apologies over the situation.

Mohanlal’s much-anticipated Sydney show has been postponed after the actor failed to obtain a visa. While the other performers had already arrived in Australia, the show had to be postponed as Mohanlal could not travel.
Mohanlal sent a video message to the organisers, expressing his heartfelt apologies over the situation. He said he had not received his visa and did not know how it happened.
Mohanlal had been staying in Singapore and was hoping the visa would arrive in time.
“I am not going into the details of whether it was a technical error or a clerical mistake. I am taking it as my responsibility and telling you that I cannot make it. Everyone else is there. I don’t know what to say. I apologise,” Mohanlal said in the video message.
He said he was in a very sad situation and that this was the first time something like this had happened in his life.
“As an actor from India, I may be the one who has done the most shows. I tried to come to you with the best concept. Everyone who is part of my team, including KS Chithra, is there. I don’t know why this happened. This is the first time something like this has happened in my life. I did not get my visa.
“I don’t know how it happened. I am not going into whether it was a technical error or a clerical mistake. I take responsibility for it. I cannot come. Everyone except me is there. I don’t know what to say. I apologise. I sincerely apologise to everyone who travelled there, whether by driving or otherwise, to watch the show.
“I promise that we will return with the same team and put on a spectacular show. I don’t know the date yet. It will be decided according to everyone’s convenience. I sincerely apologise to each and every one of you. I am helpless. Please accept my apology,” Mohanlal said.
