See how Malayalam actor Manju Warrier secretly mastered horse riding in Aluva. Read the full story behind her early morning training sessions here.

What appeared to be a normal early morning routine at Aluva’s Manappuram actually went unnoticed for weeks, as Malayalam actor Manju Warrier was quietly attending horse riding training sessions there for nearly a month, arriving on a two-wheeler around 5 am and leaving before anyone could recognise her.
The actor trained at the riverside ground under George Dias of Thottakkattukara, riding his horse ‘Laura’. For almost a month, she reportedly reached the venue before sunrise, practised for around two hours every day, and left before the place became crowded.
Sources say Manju Warrier learned horse riding within just a week of starting the training and soon progressed to riding solo during her sessions, continuing her practice independently under supervision.
She would travel from her Ernakulam flat to Aluva on a bike, dressed in a jacket and cap, which helped her remain unrecognised during the early morning hours. Most people at the ground reportedly had no idea that a film star was training right in front of them.
After completing her sessions, she and her team would often stop at eateries along Old Desam Road for breakfast before returning.
The training sessions also had a small film industry presence, with actors Sunny Wayne, Siju Wilson and producer Bineesh Chandran reportedly taking part as well.
Siju Wilson, who is from Aluva, introduced Manju Warrier to trainer George Dias for the horse riding practice.
