Recent rumours of Tamil superstar Ajith Kumar teaming up with director Prashanth Neel have been cleared by Ajith's manager, Suresh Chandra. The rumours spread earlier suggested that Neel would direct Ajith's 64th and 65th films, one of them being part of the KGF universe.
However, in an interview with a media house, Suresh Chandra clarified that both the actor and the director did meet but it was not a film collaboration meetup.
"These rumours have come online. It is not true. It's true that Ajith sir and Prashanth Neel met. They exchanged pleasantries and have the highest regard for each other but no film was discussed when they met...I don't see anything happening in the near future," he stated.
Ajith is currently busy with the shoot of Vidaamuyarchi, directed by Magizh Thirumeni, which is expected to release on Diwali this year. The film's Azerbaijan schedule was recently wrapped up. His next project will be Adhik Ravichandran's Good Bad Ugly.
