Actress Mallika Sherawat has candidly spoken out about her experiences in the Bollywood industry, revealing that many male actors have invited her to their hotel rooms at night. In a recent video that has gone viral on social media, Mallika discussed how her bold roles in films led some stars to assume she would be open to casual behaviour off-screen.

In the video, she recounted how these actors would suggest late-night meetings, often questioning her reluctance by saying that if she plays bold characters on screen, she should have no problem meeting them privately. Mallika firmly rejected these advances, emphasising that she does not compromise her values, despite the assumptions made about her due to her film roles.

She also alleged that her refusal to engage with these demands has contributed to her being sidelined in the industry. Mallika, who made her debut in 2003 with Khwaish, gained significant attention with the 2004 film Murder, earning a Zee Cine Award for Best Actress. She has also appeared in the Hollywood film Myth alongside Jackie Chan and enjoyed success with Pyaar Ke Side Effects in 2006. In 2022, she was last seen in the film RK/RKay featuring Rajat Kapoor.
