The much-awaited teaser of "Magic Mushrooms", directed by Nadirshah with Vishnu Unnikrishnan in the lead, has been released. Following the tremendous audience response to "Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan", the duo reunites for a film that promises a lively, fun-filled, family-friendly feel-good entertainer. As suggested by the teaser, "Magic Mushrooms" is set to arrive in theatres on 23 January.

Akshaya Udayakumar plays the female lead. Produced by Ashraf Pilakkal under the banner Manchadi Creations, the film is written by debutant Aakash Dev, who has handled the story, screenplay and dialogues. Distribution is by Bhavana Release.

The first-look poster, designed in a 3D caricature style, garnered notable attention across social media platforms. The film features an extensive ensemble cast including Harisree Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Johny Antony, Jaffer Idukki, Bobby Kurien, Siddharth Bharathan, Ashraf Pilakkal, Pramod Veliyanad, Abin Bino, Arun Punalur, Shanthivila Dinesh, Meenakshi Dinesh, Pooja Mohanraj, Manisha K S, Alice Paul, Master Sufiyan Sali, Master Dhrupad, Master Vaishnav, and Baby Vaidhehi Nair.

A star-studded array of singers comprising of Shankar Mahadevan, K. S. Chithra, Shreya Ghoshal, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Jassie Gift, Hanan Shaah, Rimi Tomy, Ranjini Jose, and Khadeeja Nadirshah, have lent their voices to the film's songs. Principal photography took place across Thodupuzha, Erattupetta and Ottapalam.
