Kochi: Wayfarer Films, helmed by Dulquer Salmaan, has unveiled captivating character posters of Dulquer Salmaan as Charlie (an Odiyan) and Tovino Thomas as Michael (Chathan) from the highly successful Malayalam superhero fantasy film "Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra." The movie, directed and written by Dominic Arun and starring Kalyani Priyadarshan in the title role, has been breaking new ground in theatrical success.

Kalyani Priyadarshan delivers a powerful performance as Chandra, supported by strong roles from Naslen, Sandy, Arun Kurian, and Vijayaraghavan. The film also features notable guest appearances by Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas, whose characters, Charlie, belonging to the Odiyan clan, and Michael, a mystical Chathan, have been well received by audiences.

"Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra" is the first entry in a Malayalam superhero cinematic universe, blending folklore with modern fantasy storytelling. Despite not appearing on screen, Mammootty is rumoured to play a crucial off-screen role as Moothon, adding to the film's high-profile ensemble. The movie’s impressive box office numbers underscore the growing audience appetite for innovative, locally-rooted superhero cinema.
