Actor Fahadh Faasil is one of the most beloved actors in the Indian film industry today. After his debut film didn't do well at the box office, Fahadh took a long break before making a remarkable comeback that stunned audiences.

A turning point in his second innings in the industry was the film Chaappa Kurishu, released in 2011, and directed by Sameer Thahir. Now, producer Listin Stephen has revealed how much Fahadh was paid for that movie.

According to Listin, Fahadh was paid ₹1 lakh for his role in Chaappa Kurishu, which was released in 2011.

Speaking at the South Indian Film Academy’s convocation ceremony, he said that even if someone offered ₹5 or ₹10 crore today, they might not be able to get Fahadh.

“When I asked Fahadh about his fee, he told me to give whatever I wished. I told him that it would be easier for me if he could specify an amount. He replied that he had done the film Tournament for ₹65,000. Fahadh worked on Chaappa Kurishu with full energy from A to Z,” Listin recalled.

“That day, I paid Fahadh ₹1 lakh. Today, look at where he stands. Even if you offer ₹5 or ₹10 crore, sometimes you still can’t get him. That is the magic of cinema,” Listin said.
