Lewis Hamilton has gone public with his relationship with Kim Kardashian, sharing a high-speed Instagram Reel that appears to confirm months of speculation about the pair’s romance.

The video, posted on 6 April, shows the seven-time Formula One champion tearing through the Daikoku Parking Area car meet in Tokyo in a rare Ferrari F40, with Kardashian revealed in the passenger seat at the end of the clip. Hamilton captioned the post: "HERE WE GO AGAIN TOKYO DRIFT VOL. III," set to the track “Victory Lap” by Skepta, PlaqueboyMax and Fred Again. 

When the camera turns to Kardashian inside the car, she reacts to the wild ride with, “That’s insane.”

Pair appear together after months of dating rumours

The Instagram reveal follows weeks of reports linking the duo. On 25 March, People confirmed that Kardashian and Hamilton were holidaying in Tokyo with her three younger children – Saint, Chicago and Psalm. The reality star shares them, along with daughter North, with ex-husband Kanye West.

Her sister Khloe Kardashian and her children True and Tatum also joined the trip, which sources described as a relaxed family getaway that included Hamilton.

Another insider told the outlet Hamilton is “an easygoing guy with great energy,” adding that Kardashian’s “family likes him.” They described the relationship as more than casual, noting, “Kim's very into him… It takes a lot to capture Kim’s interest and she’s definitely intrigued.”

Hamilton’s Tokyo car history

The video places Hamilton at the famous Daikoku car meet in Yokohama, a global hotspot for enthusiasts. The British driver is shown drifting, performing doughnuts and revving the legendary Ferrari F40, one of the most iconic supercars ever produced.

This isn’t the first time Hamilton has been associated with the model. He previously posed with an F40 outside Enzo Ferrari’s former home after joining Scuderia Ferrari.

Hamilton has also made headlines in Japan before. In 2022, he faced criticism after posting video of himself performing doughnuts in a rented Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, a revered all-wheel-drive performance car.

Relationship reportedly heating up

According to further reports from People, Kardashian recently travelled to Japan to support Hamilton ahead of an upcoming Grand Prix. Insiders say the two are making time for each other despite demanding schedules.

“They are both busy… but see each other as much as possible,” one source said. Another added that the relationship is “more than just a casual connection,” describing Kardashian as “completely gaga for him.”

Sources told Star magazine that the pair are “in that hot and heavy stage where they can’t stand being apart.” The Japan trip was described as a “big step,” with Kardashian joining the circle of driver partners, known informally as WAGs, in the paddock.
