Malayali connects to space mission as backup pilot

Prasanth, Lena’s husband and a Malayali, was more than just a well-wisher. He served as the backup pilot for the Axiom-4 mission. Had Shubhanshu been unable to travel, Prashant would have taken his place on the spacecraft. Because of this, Prasanth trained closely with the team and shared in every step of the journey.
