Kochi: The mortal remains of veteran Malayalam film and stage actor KPAC Lalitha will be kept at Layam auditorium in Thrippunithura from 8 am to 11.30 am for the public to pay homage and the body will be taken to the house in Wadakkanchery by noon. The funeral will be held on the premises of her house at Wadakkanchery on Wednesday evening by 4 pm. 

She was under treatment for liver diseases and had been hospitalised. But after discharge from the hospital, she was resting at her son Sidharth’s residence.

Many actors and musicians including Mammootty, Prithviraj, Mallika Sukumaran, MG Sreekumar, Navya Nair, Tini Tom, Idavela Babu and Manju Pillai expressed condolence over her demise by arriving at the auditorium to pay homage to the actress.
