Young actor Kalidas Jayaram had an opportunity to meet his ‘reel life’ mother Lakshmi Gopalaswamy after 21 years. Kalidas played the role of Lakshmi’s son in his debut movie ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’ directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and released in 2000.

Cherishing the reunion, Lakshmi shared the pic with Kalidas on her social media pages.

“With love and affection for my dear Kalidas, who made his debut in our most famous 'Kochu Kochu Santhosangal' as my little son and 21 years later we meet on sets again!! Best wishes to prayers for kalidas’ bright career,” Lakhmi wrote as sharing the pics with Kalidas.

According to reports, Kalidas and Lakshmi are sharing screen space in the untitled movie directed by debutant Vinil Varghese. The movie started rolling last week.

Saiju Kurup, Namitha Pramod and Reba Monica are also playing pivotal roles in the movie.

Kalidas who made his acting debut as a child artiste played the role of Achu, a 6-year-old boy in ‘Kochu Kochu Santhoshangal’. His real-life father actor Jayaram played the lead role in the movie along with Laksmi Gopalaswamy.
