Mumbai: The makers of the eagerly awaited Malayalam film Kalamkaval, featuring superstar Mammootty, unveiled a striking new poster on Friday, highlighting the actor in a powerful and intense avatar.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, the team captioned it: "The secrets Get Unfolded in a Week and No one stays Hidden for long. #Kalamkaval is coming. #Kalamkaval in Cinemas Worldwide from December 5”.
 

The announcement follows a minor change in the film’s release schedule. Originally set for November 27, the premiere has been postponed to December 5, giving fans a slightly longer wait to see Mammootty in his latest role.

Directed by Jithin K Jose, with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed, ‘Kalamkaval’ is produced by George Sebastian under Mammootty Kampany. The recently released trailer offers a glimpse of Mammootty’s character and introduces the story of two friends whose minor conflicts escalate into a communal riot in Kottayikkonam, Thiruvananthapuram. Vinayakan also stars in a key role.

Mammootty recently earned the Best Actor award for his performance in Rahul Sadasivan’s folk-horror film ‘Bramayugam’.
