Jyotika is currently busy promoting her upcoming Netflix project 'Dabba Cartel', set to release on February 28. However, amidst the buzz around her film, a lighthearted yet sharp response she gave to an Instagram troll has caught the internet’s attention.

Recently, Jyotika posted some cheerful pictures of herself on Instagram. While fans showered her with love, one user took a different route and wrote, "Vijay is better than your husband." The comment was referring to actor-politician Vijay. Instead of ignoring the remark, Jyotika dropped a laughing emoji in response. However, she later deleted both her comment and the original remark from Instagram.

Reddit digs it up, Internet reacts

The deleted exchange didn’t go unnoticed. Reddit users quickly dug it up, leading to a flurry of reactions. One user pointed out, "Audacity to tell a woman that other person is better than her husband."

Another added, "Rude is telling someone that their husband isn't good enough. She gave a fitting reply to the loser."

The reactions weren’t all one-sided. Some users found humour in the situation, with one joking, "We got Jyotika involved in fan wars before GTA VI."

Others, however, questioned her decision to respond in the first place.

A comment read, "Why are you replying to that negative comment because then only you can get media attention right, total family jealous of other actors' success."

On the work front, Jyotika was last seen in the 2024 films 'Shaitaan' and 'Srikanth'. She is currently gearing up for the release of 'Dabba Cartel', which is set to premiere on Netflix on February 28. Additionally, she will be seen in the bilingual Hindi-Tamil film 'Lion'.
