Malayalam actor Joju George celebrated his birthday with a special surprise from the makers of his upcoming film ‘Aasha’. The team released a new poster featuring the actor, marking the occasion with excitement among fans. 

The film brings together Joju George and veteran actress Urvashi for the first time on screen — a pairing that has already created buzz in Malayalam cinema circles. Alongside the duo, the film also stars Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vijayaraghavan in pivotal roles.

The newly released poster follows the first-look reveal featuring Urvashi in a striking and unconventional avatar, which had already caught wide attention online. ‘Aasha’ also includes ‘Pani’ fame Ramesh Girija in a key role and will be released in five languages, underscoring its pan-Indian ambition.

Presented by Ajith Vinayaka Films and produced by Vinayaka Ajith, the project marks the banner’s next major release after successful titles such as ‘Ponman’, ‘Gaganachari’, ‘Bandra’, ‘Madhura Manohara Moham’, and ‘Neru’.

The title-look poster was unveiled earlier, hinting at the film’s unique tone. ‘Aasha’ is written and directed by debutant Safar Sanal, with the screenplay and dialogues co-written by Joju George, Ramesh Girija, and Safar Sanal.

Cinematography is handled by Madhu Neelakandan, while Midhun Mukundan composes the music. The film is currently being shot in and around Kalady.
