As soon as Cena’s tribute went live, social media was flooded with emotional responses from netizens. Many appreciated his gesture, with one user commenting, “India loves you, John,” while another wrote, “It feels great when a legend notices another legend.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, his co-star ‘Heads of State’, left a comment under the post, which read "Queen".

Bhosle's granddaughter and singer Zanai responded, "Truly her natural element".

Bhosle died on Sunday at the age of 92 due to multiple organ failure.

Earlier in the day, former Australian cricketer Brett Lee also paid his respects and reflected on his special connection with Asha Bhosle. He recalled working with her on the duet “You're the One for Me.”

Asha Bhosle was cremated with full state honours on Monday at Shivaji Park Crematorium in Mumbai. Family members, friends, film personalities and admirers gathered to pay their final respects and bid her farewell.

Widely regarded as one of the most versatile voices in Indian music, Asha Bhosle’s career spanned over eight decades. Her songs covered a wide range of styles including classical, ghazals, cabaret numbers and pop music. She also holds a Guinness World Record for the highest number of studio recordings.

Alongside her sister Lata Mangeshkar, she remained one of the defining voices of Hindi cinema’s golden era, shaping the sound of Indian film music for generations.
