Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, and more return for a new heist with ‘Now You See Me 3’.

Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for ‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t,’ the highly anticipated third chapter in its hit illusionist-heist series. Set to release in cinemas worldwide on 14 November 2025, the film marks a new phase for the franchise, promising to blend high-tech spectacle with classic sleight-of-hand deception.
The new trailer, first teased at CinemaCon and now available online, showcases Jesse Eisenberg reprising his role as J Daniel Atlas, who is seen recruiting a new team of magicians. “I’m talking about a trick that is bigger and better than anything you have ever seen. It’s now or never,” Atlas says in the trailer, hinting at a heist of epic proportions.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer (‘Venom,’ ‘Zombieland’), the film reunites core cast members Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman, while introducing newcomers Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa. Rosamund Pike joins as the film’s central antagonist — a morally grey figure with ties to an international criminal network.
According to the official synopsis, the seasoned Horsemen are tasked with mentoring a younger generation of illusionists in an elaborate plot to steal the so-called “heart diamond” from Pike’s character. The narrative unfolds against a backdrop of global intrigue, technological trickery, and psychological misdirection.
In a nod to the franchise’s love for public spectacle, Lionsgate staged a real-world stunt in New York’s Times Square to mark the trailer launch. A giant digital billboard flashed “Now You See Me,” followed by a countdown and a surprise transition to “Now You Don’t.” Fans who had opted in via text received instant cash giveaways along with early access to the trailer.
‘Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’ carries forward the franchise’s signature formula of intricately choreographed illusions and daring heists, all while expanding its universe with fresh faces and deeper stakes. With a fourth instalment already in development, Lionsgate is banking on this new film to reinvigorate its billion-dollar property for a new generation.
Since the original film debuted in 2013, the ‘Now You See Me’ franchise has grossed over $700 million globally and built a loyal fan base drawn to its unique mix of magic, mystery, and momentum.
