The moment one hears of a new Jeethu Joseph film, the immediate thought is of the much-awaited "Drishyam 3". But before the arrival of that eagerly anticipated sequel, Jeethu Joseph is set to puzzle audiences with an intriguing cinematic game through his upcoming film "Mirage", starring Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on September 19.

The release announcement poster, unveiled on the day of Thiruvonam, has already created a stir across social media. Featuring Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, and Hakim Shajahan, the poster has garnered widespread attention.

Following the critically acclaimed "Kishkindha Kaandam", Asif Ali and Aparna Balamurali reunite once again for "Mirage". The recently released teaser underscored the film's gripping journey, highlighting a blend of intense emotions and thrilling moments.

Jeethu Joseph, the acclaimed filmmaker behind the blockbuster "Drishyam" series, directs the project. The digital illusion video released earlier drew considerable attention, followed by the film's first look and second look posters, both warmly received by audiences. Alongside Asif Ali, Aparna Balamurali, and Hakim Shajahan, the cast also features Deepak Parambol, Hannah Reji Koshy, and Sampath Raj in pivotal roles.

"Mirage" is produced by Mukesh R Mehta, Jatin Sethi, and C V Sarathi under the banners of E4 Experiments and Nath Studios, in association with Seven1Seven Productions and Bed Time Stories. Notably, Asif Ali's first release of 2025, "Rekhachithram", emerged as a major box-office success. Following their widely discussed film "Kooman", the reunion of Asif Ali and Jeethu Joseph in "Mirage" has raised audience expectations to new heights.
