Singer Jasmine Sandlas turned a live concert in Delhi into a powerful moment of solidarity after she paused her performance midway to address harassment in the crowd.

The incident took place at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, where Jasmine was performing as part of her ongoing tour. Spotting two men troubling women in the audience, the singer immediately stopped singing and asked event security to step in, refusing to continue until the situation was handled.

“Security, please remove these two guys. They’re troubling these women. I won’t sing till women feel safe here,” she said firmly, drawing loud cheers and applause from the crowd.

Fans praised her for using her platform to prioritise safety over spectacle, with videos of the moment quickly circulating online.

Once calm was restored, Jasmine thanked the audience for their support and spoke about her special bond with the capital. “Performing in Delhi is always life-changing. Every time I come here, it feels special. This night is beautiful. I love you, Delhi,” she said.

The concert had another surprise in store when actor Ayesha Khan joined Jasmine on stage during her hit track Shararat. A visibly excited Ayesha joked, “I forgot all my steps after coming on stage. Jasmine is truly God’s child.”

The duo later returned for an encore, laughing through the performance as fans cheered, closing the night on a joyful and empowering note.
