Malayalam cinema’s popular on-screen pair Jagadish and Urvashi are set to reunite as lead actors after nearly three decades. The actors will share the screen in the upcoming film ‘Room No. 9’, written and directed by Jai Mohan.

The makers have released the film’s poster, offering a glimpse into the mysterious world of the upcoming project. The poster features Urvashi’s character walking down a staircase while Jagadish’s character moves up another, with both characters seen sporting enigmatic expressions. The contrasting lighting across the two staircases adds to the suspense surrounding the film.

Jagadish and Urvashi were a popular pairing in Malayalam cinema during the 1980s and 1990s, appearing together in films including ‘Sthreedhanam’, ‘Bharya’ and ‘Simhavalan Menon’. Their return as a lead pair after such a long gap has drawn attention from Malayalam film audiences.

‘Room No. 9’ is produced by Vilas Kumar under the banner of Cinematic Dreams. Faisal Ali is the cinematographer, while Ranjan Abraham handles the editing. Manu Jagath is the production designer and Aneev Sukumar serves as chief associate.

The music is composed by Kailas Menon and Shankar Sharma, with lyrics by B K Harinarayanan. Shankar Sharma also handles the background score.
