Popular vlogger Sindhu Krishna has revealed that it was her daughter Diya Krishna who picked the name for Diya’s newborn son, not her. In her latest vlog, Sindhu shared the heartwarming story behind the baby’s name and how the family came together during this special time.

“Many people assumed I was the one who named Ozy's baby. I did suggest a few names, but it was Diya who suddenly came up with the name ‘Neeom’ one fine morning. She said since everyone calls her ‘Ozy’, we could call the baby ‘Omy’ at home,” Sindhu said with a smile.

Sindhu also opened up about a conversation they had about hiring a nanny. “We briefly discussed whether we should hire someone to help. But I felt it was best for us to look after the baby ourselves. Only if it becomes absolutely necessary should we seek help. I want to raise him myself. After raising a daughter, taking care of a baby boy will be a new and special experience for me,” she shared.

The proud grandmother added that Diya has now taken over the unofficial role of ‘chief name selector’ in the family. “At first, I was unsure about the name. But once the baby arrived and we named him, it truly felt perfect,” she said.

Sindhu also spoke candidly about how she doesn’t quite feel like a grandmother yet. “It doesn’t feel like I’ve become a grandmum. It feels more like we’ve welcomed another child into our family after Hansika,” she said, referring to her younger daughter. Sindhu also recalled how even after her elder daughter Ahaana was born, it had taken her a while to truly feel like a mother.
