The Tamil film Maaman, currently running in theatres, has managed to impress audiences with the performances of its lead actors. The film features an ensemble cast including Soori, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Swasika.

What has kept audiences amused now is a candid revelation by Swasika in connection with the movie — something she shared during an interview with Mathrubhumi.

In an intriguing reveal, Swasika stated that during the shoot of Maaman, "Aishu messaged me around 2–3 AM, asking whether I considered her a good actor and whether she was doing her job well — maybe she was introspecting."

Recalling the incident in the interview, Swasika said that it was all fun and memorable. Actors Soori and Aishwarya herself were present when Swasika chose to make the revelation. While Soori said it was quite natural for artists to have such doubts, he stressed that Aishwarya has done a decent job so far. Aishwarya was mostly all smiles listening to this.

Meanwhile, Swasika went on to say that she was rather amused as to why Aishwarya chose her of all people to pose the question — because Swasika said that, despite her considerable experience, she herself is still figuring out how good an actor she is. The interview went on to deliver several such fun moments.

During the promotions last week, Soori had recalled how he had worked in Tiruppur for Rs 20 a day during his struggling days before making it into the film industry. He thanked everyone who helped him on his journey. At that moment, Aishwarya Lekshmi was seen weeping on stage while listening to Soori's past.

Similarly, actor Unni Mukundan, who had acted alongside Soori in the recent movie Garudan, recalled how generous Soori was — noting that he had helped promote Unni's movie Marco by sending a recorded video without even being asked.

Soori, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Swasika all continue their enthralling journey in the entertainment world, mesmerizing audiences with their performances.
